November 01, 2013

For an introduction to 21 Graces, visit this post. It's never too late to jump on in!
  1. My husband's willingness to come home early and man the baby so I can get things done.
  2. A game night that turned into a conversation-until-midnight night.
  3. Testing out homemade wine.
  4. Friends who love on our baby.
  5. People who step up to volunteer.
  6. Being thanked and appreciated.
  7. Finally making it to the pumpkin patch.
  8. Seeing Liam's eyes widen with discovery.
  9. Enjoying lunch outdoors.
  10. Having a day off of work to relax with Liam.
  11. A long afternoon nap for the both of us.
  12. Giving myself grace to not cook dinner...
  13. ...and giving myself grace to forgo a costume for Liam this year...
  14. ...but still dressing him up in black and orange thanks to Halloween clearance deals.
  15. A community that prays.
  16. Friends who speak truth.
  17. Celebrating babies.
  18. Cooking a Halloween meal of chili and cornbread, a tradition since I was a little kid.
  19. Officially cool, chilly, breezy fall weather.
  20. Having lunch dates with my husband to make up for the lack of real dates.
  21. A relaxing Halloween night sans trick-or-treating.

  1. Aren't #4 and #16 always SUCH a blessing??!! I hope #3 went well for you...it would surely result in a migraine for me! # 8 never gets old, NEVER. #13 Both boys didn't have a "real costume" until the Halloween close to their second birthday. Ghost/pumpkin shirts until then because I mean really, what is the point besides making your life harder until they can actually enjoy it and choose something! #18 Yum!
