Week Fifty-One and Fifty-Two: 21 graces.

That's it! We made it fifty-two weeks - an entire year - of counting graces. Here are the last two weeks of the year.

  1. Loving our pediatrician.
  2. Staying home with a sick baby on the last day before Christmas break, allowing me to get some last minute things done.
  3. Generosity
  4. Late night, early Christmas celebration.
  5. Starting a tradition of exchanging stockings.
  6. A safe flight into Texas...
  7. ...and having Chris with us for the first time.
  8. Flexible family when our flight was delayed.
  9. A baby boy in a sweater vest.
  10. Liam meeting Santa for the first time and smiling for the camera.
  11. Having others push the stroller and feed the baby so Chris and I could browse the mall together.
  12. Liam officially being out of the womb as long as he was in the womb.
  13. Getting to see my brother in from LA.
  14. Tex-mex fajitas.
  15. Wine with my parents in the evening.
  16. Being showered with thoughtful, generous gifts on Christmas Eve morning...
  17. ...and realizing just how well those you love know you.
  18. Spending Christmas in the country...
  19. ...and a baby boy who loves being outdoors in it.
  20. Being forced to sit back and relax.
  21. All of the cousins together at once.
  22. A baby in camo.
  23. Family game nights.
  24. Seeing my family's love for Liam.
  25. Coffee on the back porch...
  26. while Liam swings.
  27. Working on the annual Christmas puzzle with my siblings.
  28. A win for the Aggies.
  29. Liam trying and loving lots of new food.
  30. Cabbage and black-eyed peas for New Year's Day lunch.
  31. Having help from my dad through the airport with heavy luggage and a baby in a stroller.
  32. Liam making a mess and happening to see a stack of napkins right next to me.
  33. A safe flight back to Arizona.
  34. Cordial passengers and airport employees who provide extra hands for helping.
  35. Contagious smiles.
  36. A good night's sleep in my own bed again.
  37. My husband bringing me lunch to work on his day off.
  38. Liam having a "great day" at daycare on his first day back.
  39. Finding new foods for him to enjoy.
  40. A new planner.
  41. Reflecting on the last year...
  42. ...and looking forward to change in the next.
